Description
The injector sleeve provides sealing and cooling between the diesel fuel injector and cylinder head. Improper sealing can result in combustion gas and coolant leaks into the fuel system, which can result in engine misfire and injector failure. Replacing the sleeve at time of injector service or replacement ensures proper sealing, improving injector longevity.
