EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) SAE 20R3 class D2 heater hose can be cut to the desired size to allow users to connect a vehicle’s engine to its heater core. This hose is commonly used to carry coolant between the engine and the heater core in cars and light trucks. This hose is made from EPDM, which provides excellent resistance to ozone and high temperatures and good resistance to chemicals. The hose meets SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standard 20R3 for class D2 hose. It is a normal-service heater hose with an inside diameter of 1″ or less, and it provides low oil resistance.
